All Adoptables

Hey, ya'll, my name is, Star. It's not my real name, but I like it better than the name I usta have when I was living in North Carolina. I thought my family was great and loved me as much as I loved them. Shucks, I had it pretty good! I ate more than a lot of other critters did! But then one day they just up and gave me to the darn Shelter, they did. Without so much as a good-bye, they was gone. 

A lady from the CSAC came by and took me to her house. Can you believe she actually let me live inside? I sure was happy at that. And I got to eat four and sometimes five times a day, 'cause she and this lady in a white coat said I hardly weighted anything. I didn't care too much for all the needles that there lady in white poked me with (something about anemia, bronchitis and vaccinations), but I sure did have fun in my new home. Or I thought it was my new home. I were only there a couple of weeks...then we hit the road up north. 

Then I really hit paydirt! These were to be my foster parents I was told. Boy were they great! They loved me, and fed me, and played with me, and bathed me, and petted me (and maybe once in a while, they had to sorta, maybe, kinda, correct me, too). I had new foster brothers and sisters to pal around with (I thought it was great, I ain't so sure they thought it was so hot). I had to have my heartworm treatment and get spayed when I was strong enough, but once that was behind me, I just kept having a ball! My foster Dad has the absolute best lap in the whole world in which to take a nap, and my tummy is always full! 

I hear my foster folks talk about other puppies like me that need help. I know I cost CSAC a lot of money, but I couldn't help it. I didn't know how sick I was. Will you please help me raise the money to pay back CSAC, so that other sick dogs can get the help they need? I sure would be in your debt. Your friend, Star.
