My name is Smokey and everyone here at CSAC has been so nice to me. They spent almost $600 at the vet hospital to get me well after I was dumped at the shelter by my family, who didn't take very good care of me. They kept me in a small cage all the time and yelled at me if I had accidents. I tried not to have accidents, but I couldn't help it. The Kennel Buddies who come to play with us rescued dogs on the weekends wanted me to come out and play, but I was just too terrified of my cage to even move. I hated being in that cage, and every time I went to the bathroom, I expected to be yelled at because I had an "accident." But the kennel staff were very good to me and didn't yell, but I was still afraid of the cage. Fortunately, I have found a wonderful foster home in Virginia where there are no cages and plenty of room to run. Now I need your help to try to repay my hospital bill so other dogs who are rescued can be healed. Will you help me help others like me?
