Hi, I'm Shadow and I'm a "whirlwind of hope looking for an anchor," or so says a behaviorist who came to the kennel to evaluate me because I was in rescue for a while without being adopted. My owner died, and I was left with him for almost three days before help came. I tried to wake him, but he wouldn't get up. Then people came to take him away and took me away too. I don't understand what I did wrong. Luckily the volunteers at CSAC came to the shelter in time to save my life, but living at the kennel is not the same as having a real home with people to look after and love. And my stay at the kennel is costing these nice folks a lot of money. I feel badly about that, because I know there are other dogs like me who need to be rescued, but money is really hard to come by to help them pay for things. Could I ask you to help me try to repay some of my kenneling costs, so other dogs can be saved like I was?
