Sandy
I'm Sandy and I'm a very happy girl now! Not so long ago, my life wasn't so great. My sister, Muffin, and I were abandoned in a fenced yard. The people who left us there didn't care about us at all because we had no water and the only food was a few green plums that fell from the tree in the yard. We came to CSAC very emaciated and very sick. Not only that, but I had a bunch of mammary tumors. The bad news - the vet had to make a long incision on my belly to get all of them out. The good news - none were malignant! At CSAC, they say I have something called "joie de vivre." I don't speak French, but they say it has something to do with how much I enjoy life. When I was at the vet hospital I wagged my long tail so much that they had to put a long cardboard tube on it to keep me from banging against the metal crate. A dog with a paper towel tube on their tail looks very funny. I love to bounce around and I jump in the air and run around for the sheer joy of it! The surgery I had cost a lot of money, which I don't have because I'm a dog. My adoption fee won't come anywhere close to paying off my vet bills. I need some sponsors who will help pay for my treatment! If you were my sponsor, you would know that thanks to your generosity, a very happy Sandy is alive and well today! Raised so Far: $100
