Noelle

They call me “Dog #6” – what kind of name is “Dog#6”? It sounds like something from a prison movie about the Communist gulags prison camps. And rightly so. The only ID I ever had was a microchip number…just like other breeding stock. I was a just a one of hundreds of other nameless dogs who were kept in dank cages and repeatedly force bred in deplorable puppy mill conditions. When CSAC rescued me, they also saved 2 of my daughters, Beverly Sills and Felicity. I was very protective of them and kept them behind me in the Buckeystown kennel, until I figured out that this was a GREAT place to be. I had a tumor on my ear and they were afraid that they would have to remove my entire ear!!! Yikes!…but the removed the tumor and saved my ear after all. Whew! From the constant pregnancies, I had serious dental problems which resulted in my losing 18 teeth. But with the great care I received, I bounced back to health and crunch on kibbles with the other young pups.
