Hey, hon, Maximillion,
here! This Baltimore boy is really hurting right now. First my owner decides
she can’t care for me no more, so I find myself in the shelter waiting
to die. Lucky for me, this young lady from CSAC comes along and says she
is going to find me a new home. Imagine a new home at my age? Who woulda
thought? So off we go to the vet hospital so they can make sure I’m okay
and up-to-date on all my shots (don’t you just hate needles, hon?), and
they find out both my ears are infected real bad. They have been hurtin
me for so long that I kinda got use to ‘em being that way. They ran a couple
of tests and stuff, and found out the bacteria was resistant to most of
the antibiotics out there, so it was decided that I needed a double ear
canal ablation. I’m not too sure what that means, but the nice veterinarian
assures me that the pain will be gone and I won’t get infected ears anymore.
Hooray! Trouble is, you see, the surgery costs a bundle, and with all the
dogs the CSAC rescues and pays for their medical costs, I know they could
use your help on this one if you could spare a few bucks. It don’t have
to be a lot, a couple of bucks would be great. If everyone who reads my
story pitched in a few bucks, the surgery would be covered in no time at
all. But not to worry about me, hon. The wonderful people at CSAC are putting
up the money for my surgery right now. I just want that money to be there
for the next boy or girl they rescue who is hurting like me.
