My name is Mason, but my foster Mom calls me May-May. She says it's a term of endearment. When I first arrived at her house, I gave her lots and lots of kisses because I was SO glad to be out of that awful kennel! She told me that she loved the kisses, but my breath was horrible. She said that I must have my teeth cleaned so that other folks would love my sweet cocker kisses.

The Vet described my mouth as disgusting and what started out as a routine cleaning may have saved my life! It turns out that I had three suspicious growths in my mouth in addition o six rotten teeth. The Vet pulled out the "bad" teeth and cut out the small tumors. My foster Mom was really surprised when she saw the bill, but it was obviously long overdue. Now we must wait for the lab results on the tumors.
