Kinslee
I was with the
first group of 4 girls were saved from the puppy mill and we were litterly
frozen with fear. If we saw anyone coming, we would get in a pile in the
corner of the kennel with out backs to the people. Kayleigh , Trinity ,Winnie
(CSAC gave us our first names) and I always had to be touching each other.
THIS WAS CRUCIAL TO OUR SURVIVAL during the rescue. We were probably related,
but it was hard to tell. People feel that we must have been really isolated
in our lives as. Then thank goodness for CSAC because they took us in health
problems and all. My feet were permanently splayed from living in wire
cages all of my life. It was a HUGE adjustment to walk on that prickly
green grass and hot concrete. I had cherry eyes which required surgery
and many infected teeth that had to be removed. To top it off, I would
urinate lying down! What do you think about that. Why wouldn’t you do that
if you lived in a cage. My foster mother and I are working on the proper
way for ladies to “void”. I feel much better and just think it’s a miracle
that I ended up with CSAC who found me a terrific home. WHAT CAN WE DO
ABOUT ALL OF OUR COUSINS IMPRISONED IN THE THOUSANDS OF PUPPY MILLS!!!
