My name is Charlie and I’m thirteen years old, but don’t let me age fool you I have a lot of life left in me thanks to the CSAC.  When animal control found me, I was wandering the back roads of West Virginia, I had not had my shots in a long while and the back half of me was bald and covered with countless little dime-size sores.  I was a shell of my current self and had even forgotten to wag my tail, I was too busy scratching myself bloody since my skin itched so badly.  Animals control called my owners, I still had an old rabies tag on my collar, to come and get me but my owners refused to pay for a new license, my shots and to treat my sores.  My heart broke watching them leave me behind, I tried be such a good boy but I just cannot stop the constant itching.  As their car pulled away I thought my life was over, until a lady from the CSAC picked me up and took me to a veterinary hospital for treatment.  Now I’m in a foster home, and am being treated for a variety of allergies, which is causing me to itch!  I am starting to grow my hair back and my sores are healing.  I get to sleep on a warm bed, watch food network and be petted.  I had forgotten how wonderful being petted was!  I know my weekly allergy shots, special food, and my medications have to be expensive and they are spending so much money on me that they do not have enough for other sick dogs like me that have forgotten the joys of being a pet.  Can you please sponsor me to help not only pay my bills but to help the CSAC save a life of another dog?
