All Adoptables

I don’t know what happened to my family…they just suddenly disappeared when I became sick. They were there one day and I was walking the streets of Baltimore alone the next.  I don’t know what I did wrong. I loved them as hard as I could and played and did tricks. But I guess I just wasn’t good enough.

When the Animal Control officers picked me up, I was really hungry, so I was glad to go with them to get some food.  I thought my family might come to get me…but they didn’t. After a long wait, a nice lady from CSAC came and took me to a vet hospital so they could check me out to see what was wrong with me. I knew I was feeling pretty rotten, but I didn’t know just how sick I was.

The vet removed several mammary tumors and then had to do a complete hysterectomy. I had to stay in the hospital for awhile to get better, so the vet bills are pretty high, but my foster Mom says I’m worth every penny. I hope she’s right, for I do feel like my old self now, and am having lots of fun in my new home. If it wasn’t for the terrific people with CSAC, I know I wouldn’t be here any longer. They spent a lot of money on me and I would like to help raise money to replenish the medical fund, so if there is another really sick dog like me that needs emergency care, the money will already be there. These volunteers work so hard to raise money to help all of us rescued dogs…will you help me help them? It would mean so much.
