My name is Alfalfa and everyone tells me what a sweet boy I am. I have a bossy sister named Spanky too. Our people decided that they didn't want us anymore because we were too old and they dropped us off at a shelter. What a horribly noisy place. Then I got sick. They called it "kennel cough" and they gave me some medicine, but it just wasn't getting any better. The shelter finally called CSAC and told us that my sister and I were both really sick and could die if we didn't get out of there. A nice lady from CSAC picked us up right away and got us to a vet. The vet said that our kennel cough was so bad that we had to be quarantined from all the other dogs. Luckily, the vet made us feel so much better and now we're living the high life in a great foster home. The vet bills are really big though and thanks to my sweet sponors Faith Insley, Kari Monson and my anonymous friends, my bills have been paid and the CSAC can save another dog just like me.
